One-Year Unlimited Comprehensive Warranty

Klein Optical Instruments Inc. warrants that every Klein Colorimeter is free from defects in materials and workmanship and will perform to specification under normal use.

For a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase, Klein Instruments will provide unlimited comprehensive warranty service for the original owner. During this period, Klein Instruments will, at its discretion, repair or replace any component or instrument found to be malfunctioning or otherwise not operating within specification.

This comprehensive warranty covers all necessary labor, parts, and service required to restore the instrument to proper working condition. If repair is not practical, Klein Instruments may elect to replace the instrument with one of the same model.

This warranty applies to normal use of the instrument and does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification, improper storage, unauthorized repair, or exposure to conditions outside the instrument’s specified operating environment.

Klein stands apart in the industry as a company that supports even old and battle-worn colorimeters. Whether it was made in the 1990’s or today, they go the extra mile for their users and are quick to extend the benefit of the doubt in warranty situations.

Limited Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty

Klein Instruments stands behind the long-term quality and craftsmanship of its instruments- which are still assembled and tested by hand in the USA.

For the lifetime of the product, Klein Instruments warrants that the colorimeter will remain free from defects in materials and manufacturing. If at any time a fault or failure is determined by Klein Instruments to have resulted from a manufacturing defect, the company will repair the instrument or replace the defective component at no charge.

This limited lifetime warranty applies only to defects attributable to manufacturing and does not extend to damage resulting from misuse, accident, environmental exposure beyond specifications, or normal wear.

Warranty Service

Klein Instruments recommends YEARLY CALIBRATION to ensure that Colorimeters are kept within operating specifications. This is the best way to ensure that colorimeters remain eligible for warranty services.

Warranty service may be obtained by contacting Klein Instruments support and providing:

• The instrument serial number (Found on the USB cable, or via software)

• Proof of original purchase

• A description of the issue encountered

Colorimeters requiring service may be returned to Klein Instruments for evaluation and repair. Customers will be notified in the rare event that service falls outside warranty coverage prior to any paid repair work.
